Clinical Associates join iScript in an employed, supervised role with Dr. Chomba & Associates Inc, not as independent contractors. This is the legal footing required for Clinical Associate practice under HPCSA Notice 1390 of 2016.
Who we onboard: BCMP-qualified, HPCSA-registered Clinical Associates with two or more years of registration (Tier B and Tier C). Tier A onboarding will open as our supervision infrastructure matures.
Supervision
- Tier B (2–4 years registered): near-real-time supervision by a named Medical Practitioner who countersigns every consultation before it is finalised.
- Tier C (5+ years registered): autonomous consultation with a named on-call doctor, monthly case audit and automatic red-flag alerts.
Prescribing is within the Essential Drug List (Schedules 1–4). iScript funds CPD and covers indemnity.
