Prescriptions, sick notes and referrals after your consultation

Any document your consultation clinically requires is issued by the consulting practitioner, not by the support team. - Where to find them: sign in at app.iscript.co.za. Documents appear in your patient dashboard once the practitioner has finalised the consultation (for Tier B Clinical Associates this includes the supervising doctor's countersignature). - Electronic prescriptions issued by iScript practitioners are legally valid under the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965. You may have them filled at any registered South African pharmacy. iScript itself is not a pharmacy. - Sick notes are issued where clinically justified, for up to three days. - Referrals and lab requests are issued where the practitioner considers them appropriate. Not showing yet? Contact support with your booking reference and we'll check the status with the practitioner. Questions about the content (dose, side effects, whether something can be changed or repeated) must go to the practitioner: message them from your dashboard or book a follow-up consultation. Support staff are not clinicians and cannot give clinical advice or alter documents. Need more help? Chat with us on iscript.co.za or email support@iscript.co.za. Support hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, Sat 09:00–13:00 (SAST). Consultations can be booked any day. Dr. Chomba & Associates Inc · HPCSA group practice · Pr. No. 0558419. Treatment decisions rest with the consulting practitioner.
